Chris
I've spent much of my adult life trying to better understand myself, other people, and what helps us navigate the harder parts of being human. Along the way, that curiosity has taken me through training in yoga, meditation, holistic nutrition, personal growth, coaching, somatic practices and now psychology. This space is where I can bring together all that I've learned, and continue to learn.

LIFE COACH · PSYCHOLOGY STUDENT
A little about me
I'm naturally curious about why we are the way we are: how our experiences, bodies, environments and ways of thinking shape how we move through the world.
My own path hasn't been particularly linear. I've studied many wellness modalities alongside a 20-year career in business and accounting. Being self-employed gave me the flexibility and freedom to pursue my interest in wellness and even practice nutritional counselling and coaching part-time. Eventually, I chose to fully invest in this path, returning to school full time to study psychology.
Along the way, I've become especially interested in nervous-system regulation, neurodivergence, burnout, trauma, personal growth and the ways our physical and emotional lives continually influence one another.
Outside of work and school, you can find me in the garden, wandering through the woods, observing whatever is growing or crawling nearby, or following some new curiosity down a rabbit hole.

My Path
Yoga & Meditation
My exploration of wellness began in a personal way. During a difficult period in my life, yoga and meditation became important tools for reconnecting with myself. I completed a 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher and meditation training in 2011, and the experience profoundly shaped the way I understand the relationship between mind, body and well-being.
Holistic Nutrition
From there, my curiosity led me to holistic nutrition. I graduated from CSNN in 2016 and practiced for about two years. Although nutrition is no longer my primary focus, the training deepened my appreciation for the many interconnected influences on how we feel and function.
Life Coaching
Wanting to support people beyond nutrition led me to train as a life coach. Coaching gave me a framework for something that had always come naturally to me: listening deeply, exploring what's underneath a problem, and helping someone find a way forward that makes sense for their particular life.
Psychology & Counselling
Eventually, I reached a point where I could no longer justify putting meaningful work on hold for some imagined future. I chose to step away from my accounting career and return to school to study psychology, while continuing my work as a coach. That decision has allowed me organize my work around what matters most to me, while deepening my ability to help others do the same.
